What is Opla, and when

It has a column on the board and it is not switched on. Here is why, and what would change that.

Opla is a Portuguese marketplace. Its column exists on the channels board and is marked Soon.

Wallapop is built and works end to end. Opla is not, and shipping it half-working would be worse than not shipping it.

Why the column is there before the feature

Honesty about the roadmap, mostly. The board is a grid of sites, and leaving Opla out of it entirely would suggest the answer is no rather than not yet.

It also means nothing has to be rearranged when it does arrive: the column is already where it will be.

What makes it work rather than nearly work

Cross-posting is not one feature, it is a form-driver per site, and a form-driver is only useful if it fills every field correctly. One that gets photos and title right and leaves category, condition and price empty has not saved you anything: you still have to go through the whole form checking, which is the work.

Wallapop took several passes to get there, including a rewrite when it turned out the form was a single-page app that rebuilt itself under the driver. Opla needs the same treatment, not a first draft.

When

No date. It is on the public roadmap, and the roadmap board is where it will move when it moves.

If Opla is the reason you would pay for Mogul, say so on the board. What people actually ask for is what gets built next, and one clear "this is why I have not upgraded" is worth more than a dozen votes on something nobody would use.

Meanwhile

Wallapop cross-posting works today, on Mogul. If you sell in Spain or Portugal, that is the one that is live.

Did this answer it?

If not, say so on the board and the article gets fixed.
