Facts first

It reads what you already told Vinted.

  • Category, brand, size, condition, colour and material are treated as facts it may not contradict.
  • The photos fill the gaps, not the other way round.
  • Picked L and a label in the photo says M? The listing says L. You held the garment.
  • The Keywords box carries what Vinted has no field for: model, collection, what a print shows.

The rules it writes to

Vinted hides listings that break these.

  • No hashtags. Not one. Vinted’s own help says so.
  • No brand but the one you selected, in prose as well as tags.
  • No invented measurements. Numbers come from you or from Vinted’s fields. A plausible figure nobody measured is grounds for a return.
  • Flaws named in Vinted’s vocabulary: marks, pilling, fraying. That is the language returns are judged in.
  • Titles in the order buyers scan: brand, type, gender, size, colour, then what makes this one different.
