How it works
An extension that
reads your shop.
Nothing more.
Installing something that touches your Vinted account is a fair thing to be careful about. This page answers what it does, in the order people actually worry about it.
Question one
Does it see my password?
No, and it could not if it tried. Flogit never sees a login form, never asks for your Vinted password, and has no way to log in as you.
It runs inside your own browser, on the Vinted tab you already have open, using the session you are already signed in with. To Vinted it looks like you, because it is you. When you sign out of Vinted, Flogit sees nothing.
- No account to create, no email, no password.
- A paid plan is a licence key you paste in. That is the whole of it.
- Nothing about your shop is copied to a server we own.
The permissions it asks Chrome for are the small ones: storage, and access to the Vinted domains. No tabs, no browsing history, no cookies from anywhere else.
The only things that leave are the words being written and the key that says which plan you are on.
Flogit stops here. It has written everything and changed nothing.
Question two
Does it do things on its own?
No. Reading is automatic; writing never is. Flogit will happily read your listings, your sales and your offers all day. Every change to your Vinted account waits for you to press something.
- It writes the listing. You press publish.
- It suggests an answer to an offer. You press send.
- It fills the other marketplace’s form. You press publish there too.
- Bulk actions ask again before they run, and tell you what they are about to touch.
This is a design decision, not a missing feature. A tool that acts while you are asleep is a tool that makes mistakes while you are asleep, on an account you cannot replace.
Question three
Can this get my account in trouble?
The honest answer is that no extension can promise you it cannot. What we can tell you is exactly how Flogit behaves, so you can judge it.
- It waits between requests. Everything it reads goes through a queue with a pause between each call, so your account never produces the burst of traffic that looks like a script.
- You can slow it down further. The pace is a setting, not a secret.
- Relisting is capped on every plan, including the top one, because relisting is delete-and-recreate and that is the action worth being careful with.
- It does not inflate anything. No fake views, no favourite swapping, no follow-for-follow, no messaging strangers in bulk.
Flogit does the reading and the typing. Everything a person would be judged for, a person still does.
What it cannot do
The limits, up front.
- It cannot see who favourited your item. Vinted does not tell anyone that, so nothing can.
- It cannot know what you paid for something. You type that in once, and it is the number every margin depends on.
- Some edits are refused by Vinted’s bot protection when they come from an extension. Flogit hands you the filled-in form on Vinted’s own page instead of pretending it worked.
- It works on Vinted while a Vinted tab is open. It is not a service that runs without you.
The shape of it
Read, suggest, wait.
Every feature in Flogit is the same three steps, whatever it is doing.
- It reads what Vinted already shows you: your listings, your sales, your offers, your messages. Nothing is invented and nothing is scraped from anyone else’s account.
- It works something out. A title, a price against real sold items, the margin on an offer, the tax year, which parcels are waiting on a label.
- It waits for you. The result sits on screen with a button under it. Close the panel and nothing happened.
Still deciding
The free plan is the answer to most of this.
There is no card and no account, so trying it costs you nothing and commits you to nothing. Install it, open Vinted, and watch what it does before you believe a word of this page.
