Listing health: thin titles, few photos, no brand
Three faults that quietly stop listings being found, and all three are free to fix.
Listing health scans your shop for Thin title, Few photos and No brand.
None of them costs an allowance to fix. They are the cheapest improvements available to you.
The three faults
| Fault | Why it costs you |
|---|---|
| Thin title | Vinted's search reads the title. Three words means three chances to be found. |
| Few photos | Buyers scroll. A single photo reads as low effort and gets skipped, and it gives a returns dispute nothing to check against. |
| No brand | Brand is a filter, not just a word. Without it your item is invisible to everyone browsing by brand. |
The brand one is the biggest miss
Plenty of buyers never search at all. They pick a brand from the filter and scroll, and a listing with no brand set is simply not in that list, however good the photos are.
If the item genuinely has no brand, Vinted has an option for that, and using it is better than leaving the field empty.
Fixing them
Fix opens the listing so you can correct it. A title is an edit, which keeps the listing's age and favourites and costs nothing. See edit a listing.
If you want the words rewritten rather than fixed by hand, Improve listing does that, and that one does count against the listings allowance.
Do this before relisting
A relist puts a listing back in front of people. Relisting one with a three-word title and one photo just shows the same weak listing to a new audience, and spends a capped allowance doing it.
Fix the health issues first, then decide whether it still needs a push.
When it says your listings look well-optimised, there is nothing cheap left to do, and the next lever is price or photos rather than words.
