Language, country and currency

One of these follows Vinted automatically. The other two you set once, and they decide your tax figures.

The language follows Vinted's. There is no picker in Flogit: change it on Vinted and Flogit follows, in all 21 it speaks.

The country and currency are in Settings, and they are not cosmetic: the country sets your DAC7 thresholds.

Why there is no language picker

Because there would then be two, and they would disagree. You would read a Vinted page in Portuguese with a Flogit panel in English inside it, having set one of them months ago and forgotten.

Following Vinted means the two halves of the same screen always speak the same language, and there is one place to change it rather than two.

Country

Country decides the tax thresholds Flogit measures you against. The defaults are the EU baseline, and several countries differ.

DAC7 sales threshold and DAC7 revenue threshold are editable underneath, so if your country's numbers are not the default you can put the real ones in. See am I reported under DAC7.

Currency

Currency is how amounts are shown and totalled. Set it to the one your Vinted balance is actually in.

Flogit does not convert between currencies. If you sell across countries, Vinted has already settled everything into your balance currency by the time Flogit reads it.

While you are in there

Tax year start (MM-DD) matters if your tax year does not start on 1 January, which is true in more places than people expect. Setting it wrong makes the yearly report cover the wrong twelve months.

All settings stay on your device

None of this is sent anywhere. It travels in your data backup if you move computers.
