What ends a negotiation

Three settings decide when another counter stops being worth sending.

Minimum step, Max counter-offers and your floor. Between them they turn "keep haggling" into a decision rather than a reflex.

The gap is too small to argue about

Minimum step is the point at which Flogit suggests accepting rather than countering. If you are twenty cents apart, another round risks the sale over an amount neither of you will remember.

Sellers lose more to this than to lowballers. The offer was fine; the instinct to squeeze was not.

Too many rounds have happened

Max counter-offers caps how many times Flogit will suggest another counter. Past it, it proposes a final price instead.

Three exchanges is a negotiation. Six is a buyer who is enjoying the process more than they want the item, and the sale rarely improves from there.

It would cross the floor

If the only counter that satisfies the strategy is below your margin floor, Flogit suggests declining. That is the one that ends the conversation outright rather than closing it.

It only works on items with a recorded cost. See set your margin floor.

The repeat lowballer

A buyer who has made several offers below your floor gets flagged. It is not a block and it is not an accusation: some people offer half to every seller and buy from whoever says yes.

Knowing which kind you are talking to is the point. A first-time low offer is worth a counter; the fourth from the same person is worth a polite no.

Ending it is still your click

Accept, Counter and Reject are all yours. Flogit suggests which one the numbers favour and never sends anything.
