Help Offers Accepted, never paid
Accepted, never paid
You said yes. They never checked out. Vinted tells you nothing, and the item sits there looking sold.
Accepting an offer on Vinted does not take any money. It waits for the buyer to check out, and some of them never do.
Flogit lists those under Accepted, not paid a day after you accepted, so you can nudge the buyer or let it go and carry on selling the thing.
Why this is worth a screen of its own
It is the quietest way to lose a sale. Nothing failed, nothing errored, and no notification arrives. From your side the offer looks handled: you accepted it, the thread went quiet, and you moved on. Meanwhile the item is unavailable to every other buyer who would have paid full price for it.
People find these weeks later, by accident, wondering why a good item never sold.
Where to find them
Open Offers. Anything you accepted that has not been paid for shows in its own section with how long it has been waiting. View opens the conversation.
What to do about it
-
Give it a day, then a nudge
Most of these are honest: the buyer got distracted mid-checkout. A short message in the thread recovers a fair share of them.
-
If nothing comes back, let it go
An item held for somebody who is not going to pay is an item nobody else can buy. Vinted releases the reservation on its own after a while, and you can carry on in the meantime.
-
Watch for the repeat offender
Flogit flags a buyer who has made several offers below your floor. The same instinct applies to somebody who accepts and never pays twice.
This is not the same as the gap between selling and being paid. That gap is normal and expected: Vinted holds the money until the parcel arrives. See collected is not the same as sold.
