Set items aside for later
A to-do list that survives filters, reloads and closing the tab. Then act on only those.
Tick some rows and press Set aside. They join one list that persists until you deal with them.
Turning the list on as a filter shows only those items, and every bulk action then applies to them.
What it is for
You are scrolling the grid on a Tuesday and notice four things that need better photos, two that are priced wrong and one you should probably just delete. None of that is today's job.
Without somewhere to put them you either act now and lose the thread, or you promise to remember and do not. The list is the third option.
It is one list, not many
Deliberately. Named lists, tags and folders all sound better than they work: within a month you have eleven of them, three are stale, and choosing which one an item belongs in is a decision you have to make every time.
One list has one question attached to it, which is "have I dealt with this yet".
Working through it
-
Turn the list on as a filter
The grid shows only what you set aside. It is a filter like any other, so it combines with the rest.
-
Do the thing
Reprice, relist, edit, delete. Bulk actions apply to what is selected, and with the filter on that is your list.
-
Take them off with Take off the list
Or Empty the list to empty it in one go. The items stay on Vinted either way: only the list is cleared.
Setting an item aside is a note to yourself. Nobody else can see it, it does not hide or reserve the listing, and it does not touch your Vinted account at all.
