Facts first: why it will not contradict your fields
You had the item in your hands. A photograph did not, and Flogit knows which of you to believe.
Category, brand, size, condition, colour and material are treated as facts the description may not override.
Picked L and a label in the photo says M? The listing says L.
Why this way round
Reading a photograph is inference. Reading the field you filled in is not. When the two disagree, one of them was typed by somebody holding the object.
The failure mode without this rule is nasty and quiet: a description that confidently contradicts the size field, so the buyer reads one thing, filters on another, and opens a dispute when the parcel arrives.
Labels lie more than you would think
Vintage sizing, a garment relabelled for another market, a size sticker from a shop that is not the manufacturer's. This is exactly why you measured it and picked a size rather than copying the tag.
So a tag legible in a photo is evidence, not a verdict, and it loses to the field.
Photos fill gaps, not override
What the photos are for: measurements you can see against a tape, the colour in daylight, a mark on the hem, the shape of a collar, whether a print is centred.
Things no field captures, which is why the description exists at all.
If you press it on an empty form
It tells you rather than guessing everything from pixels. Category, brand, condition and colour are what it anchors to, and with none of them it would be writing fiction.
Fill in what you know first. It takes twenty seconds and it is the difference between a description about your item and a description about an item like yours.
