Help Messages & parcels The five inbox filters
The five inbox filters
The cuts that actually get used, instead of a search box and good luck.
Unread, Offers, Customers, Bundles and All.
Each one answers a different question about who is waiting on you.
What each is for
| Filter | Answers |
|---|---|
| Unread | Who is still waiting on me. |
| Offers | Which threads have money on the table. |
| Customers | Who has already bought from me, and so deserves a different answer. |
| Bundles | Which need bundle arithmetic rather than a single price. |
The customers one is the useful surprise
Most sellers answer every message the same way because every name looks the same. Someone on their fourth order asking for a euro off is not the same conversation as a stranger opening at half price, and treating them identically loses the one worth keeping.
Beside each conversation Flogit shows whether they have bought before, how much they have spent, and what they actually paid.
Clearing the backlog
Select all and Mark read deal with the pile of threads that need nothing from you: the "thanks!" messages and the automatic notices.
Worth doing before filtering by unread, so that filter means something afterwards.
And the search box
Search conversations is there for when you know who you are looking for. It is the fallback, not the tool: with a long inbox, filtering to offers is faster than remembering a username.
Nothing on this screen counts against an allowance except asking Flogit to draft a reply. Filtering, reading, translating and marking read cost nothing.
