Help Writing listings Edit a listing and save it back to Vinted
Edit a listing and save it back to Vinted
Change it in Flogit, save, done. No detour through Vinted's own form unless Vinted insists.
Open the item, change what you want, press Save changes. It goes to Vinted directly.
Occasionally Vinted's bot protection refuses. Then, and only then, Flogit hands you its own form pre-filled.
What you can change
Title, description, price, brand, size, condition, colours and parcel size. In other words the fields Vinted's own edit form has.
Photos are the exception: replacing an image on a live listing is not built yet. The photo editor gives you the file and you upload it on Vinted. See the photo editor.
Edit or relist?
| Problem | Do |
|---|---|
| Wrong price, typo, missing measurement | Edit. It keeps the listing's age and its favourites. |
| Nobody is seeing it at all | Relist. Editing does not move it up in search. |
| Both | Edit first, then relist, so the fresh listing is the corrected one. |
Editing is almost always the cheaper move: it costs nothing from your allowance and throws nothing away.
When Vinted refuses
Vinted runs bot protection on anything that writes, and sometimes it decides a write from an extension needs a human. Flogit does not retry in a loop, because hammering a refused write is exactly what the protection exists to catch.
It opens Vinted's own edit page with everything already filled in, and you press save. See Vinted refused the edit.
Saving an edit is not metered. Only asking Flogit to write the words counts, which is Fill in or Improve listing. Correcting a price forty times costs nothing.
