Improve a listing you already published

For the good item nobody is finding, where the problem is the words rather than the price.

Open the item in Inventory and press Improve listing. It rewrites the title and description against Vinted's own content rules.

It lands as a suggestion you read and apply, not as a change already made.

When words are the problem

Two numbers tell you. Low views on an old listing means people are not finding it, which is a title problem. Plenty of views and no sale means they found it and said no, which is a price or photo problem, and rewriting the words will not help.

Sort Inventory by Views to tell them apart before spending an allowance on the wrong fix.

What a better title looks like

The order buyers scan in: brand, type, gender, size, colour, then whatever makes this one different. That last part is where most titles fail, because it is the only bit that is not on the label.

Vinted's search is loose, so a title stuffed with words does not help you the way people assume. What helps is being findable for the two or three things somebody would actually type.

Same rules as a new listing

  • No hashtags. Vinted's own help says so, and it removes listings for it.
  • No brand but the one you selected, in the prose as well as the tags.
  • No invented measurements. Numbers come from you or from Vinted's fields.
  • Flaws named in Vinted's vocabulary, because that is the language returns are judged in.

Getting the change onto Vinted

Applying it writes to your listing. Occasionally Vinted's bot protection turns down a write from an extension; when that happens Flogit hands you the filled-in form on Vinted's own page instead of pretending it worked. See Vinted refused the edit.

It counts as a listing written

Same meter as Fill in. Rewriting the same listing twice counts twice, so read the suggestion before applying rather than pressing again hoping for a different one.

Editing beats relisting when the words are wrong

An edit keeps the listing's age and its favourites. A relist throws both away. If the only problem is the title, edit it.
