Help Boost & relisting My relisted item is still in Boost

My relisted item is still in Boost

The relist worked. What you are looking at is the old listing's ghost, and one refresh clears it.

Press Refresh in Inventory, then reopen Boost.

If the item is genuinely back at the top of Vinted's search, the relist did work and only Flogit's copy was behind.

Why it happens at all

A relist is not an edit. Flogit deletes the listing and creates a new one, which means the item you were looking at now has a different id on Vinted.

Flogit then has to do two things: drop the old id from its own copy of your inventory, and pick up the new one. Both need Vinted to have caught up, and Vinted does not always publish the new listing instantly.

Flogit retries a few times with a widening gap for exactly this reason. When the delay runs longer than that, the old row lingers.

Check the relist actually worked

Open the item on Vinted. If it is there with a fresh date, everything is fine and this is purely a display lag.

If you find two copies, the delete half did not go through. Delete one by hand: see hide, duplicate and delete.

The related confusion

A relisted item used to be counted as a sale, because from the outside a listing disappearing looks exactly like one that sold. Flogit now records that it removed the listing on purpose, so a relist is not counted as revenue.

If a figure still looks wrong, the item's history is the fastest way to see what Flogit actually did to it and when.

Stock lines behave differently

If the listing was tied to a stock line with units left, relisting is the intended path and the line's count is what to look at, not the Boost list. See stock lines.

Do not relist it again

That spends another allowance on an item that is already at the top, and leaves you with the same lag. Refresh first.
